A game by Pierre Giroux and Johannes Goupy illustrated by Camille Chaussy
October 2025

The scholars are rushing to participate to Litha’s festival. Send your apprentices to collect ephemeral and magical resources.
Restore life to the sacred vegetation, show yourself worthy of the goddess Salamandra and become the Great Druid.
Goal
You have 2 days and 2 nights to strategically place your apprentices, activate them smartly in order to win Veneration Points and become the Great Druid!
Salamandra is played in 4 rounds (alternating day and night).
Each round, you have a set number of apprentices at your disposal to be placed and put to work to generate resources and Veneration Points, which are the victory points of this game.
It is a « Definitive worker placement » game in which you will activate your apprentices to create ephemeral resources to be used in the current turn to :
– build new tiles that allows to obtain the blessing of the Bear and Eagle divinities
– activate Cauldron tiles, generating Veneration Points and scrolls so you can gain points at the end of the game
– pray the Salamanders goddesses to obtain powerful bonuses
– pass and study Groves
Everything in Salamandra is a source of rewards, but you will have to play at your best to bring your strategy to its end and win the game.
